Down Syndrome Challenge
Fundraising Target: £250 per person.
Run for Maisha. Run for Joy.
Why Join This Challenge
Shazan Begum, known as Maisha, was a bright, joyful soul who brought warmth and happiness to everyone around her. Born with Down syndrome, her smile lit up every room.
She sadly passed away in 2021 during the Covid pandemic. In her honour, her brother Ruhel Miah (Tyson) is raising awareness and supporting Sunshine and Smiles, helping others with Down syndrome receive the care and opportunities they deserve.
This Down Syndrome Day, we remember Maisha for the joy she gave and the love she shared.
Lace up. Take on the challenge. Be part of something meaningful.
